The Fabulous Coheed and Cambria Claudio Sanchez - vocs, guitar Travis Stever - guitar, vocs Michael Todd - bass Joshua Eppard - drums Well, well. Those are the boys and they are based out of two little places I like to call Nyack and Kingston, New York! First of all I suppose you would like to know a little aboot these fine young men's music. They consider themselve under the rock genre. I suppose that is correct seeing as to how "emo" is not a genre according to some people. They are correct. They would fit under your popular description of "emo" though. We aren't quite sure of when this quartet got hooked up, but who cares? They are good none the less. This band also has live performances leaning toward them. They do well under pressure and perform well over all. One thing...be warned that Claudio's brand of concert confetti is no party.(=/ that means sweat) Front row is always good. I recommend second row if you have a thing for standing directly in front of lead singers. The endless search for a record that one can enjoy without skipping a single track has ended! Hear me now and believe me later, THIS IS IT! |

Discography 1. Second Stage Turbine Blade Unreleased songs include: 1. Cassiopeia Sounds like... Guitars sound like...I'll go with the band on that one. They resemble rock bands more than anything. Only difference is they slip in some nice little polyphonic phrases in between all those effects and feedback. Bass sounds like...it's bass. He doesn't have any fancy solos or anything. Don't get me wrong, I do like it turned up all the way in my car. It vibrates my ghetto roller quite nicely. Drums sound like...he keeps a nice beat. Adds in some better than decent licks. I'm not good with drummers?...Travis Barker is overrated!!...stop staring at this part. Coheed's website Questions? |
